Isabelle Jasson was born and raised in Paris, France, and graduated from the University of Strasbourg with a Masters of Arts in American Literature and Civilization.  Before moving to Seattle, she taught Business English and French in Paris and at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.  In addition to teaching at a number of community colleges, her experience includes work as a Localization Specialist at Microsoft, Philips Ultrasound, and later as a translation Coordinator at Physio-Control.  She has also studied Danish, Spanish, Russian and German.  As an active member of ATA (American Translators Association) and a certified translator in English-French, she has been involved with the French School on Mercer Island (WA) and was for many years a Board Member at the Alliance Française of Seattle.  Isabelle joined the HRA team in 2010.
