Ibrahim Ali, MSW, MPH was born and raised in Ghana. He graduated with first class honors in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Ghana. He moved to Seattle in 2008 to pursue graduate studies at the University of Washington where he earned an MPH (Global Health), an MSW and a Certificate in International Development and Management. Ibrahim has varied professional experience in market research, global health, migration and HIV transmission, breast cancer in low and middle income countries, health systems strengthening, social epidemiology, and health disparities.   He has 6 years of qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research experience.  Prior to joining HRA in 2012, Ibrahim was Education and Research Coordinator of the Breast Health Global Initiative (BHGI) at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle. He is a member of the American Public Health Association, Global Health Council and the Breast Health Common Interest Group.
